Which office handles you
Outside Dubai, the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP) handles your Emirates ID and your residence.
In Dubai, residence visas go through the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA Dubai). Ask ICP or GDRFA how to renew the Emirates ID itself in Dubai.
Your date is the expiry date printed on your Emirates ID and shown on your visa. Check Emirates ID and visa status shows where to read it.
